Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Bohemia LLC, doing business as B.Mia Travel ("B.Mia Travel," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects personal information when you visit bmiatravel.com (the "Site"), apply for membership, join our waitlist, or otherwise contact us. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here. This policy should be read together with our Site Terms of Use.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us. When you fill out a form on the Site or email us, we collect what you choose to share, which may include:

  • your first and last name, email address, and phone number;

  • professional details, such as your years in the travel industry, the number of destination weddings you have booked, your current agency or host agency, and your business goals;

  • anything you include in a message to us; and

  • your email address and name when you join our courses waitlist or sign up for news and updates.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our website platform, Squarespace, automatically collects certain technical information, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, the website that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. This is used to run the Site securely and to give us general statistics about how visitors use it.

Information from members. If you become a member, we will collect additional information needed to work with you, such as business, payment, and commission details. That information is handled under this policy and your membership agreement.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • respond to your questions and messages;

  • review membership applications and contact you about next steps;

  • provide membership services, training, and support to members;

  • send you course, event, and membership updates you have asked for;

  • operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site; and

  • comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

We do not use your information for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Site uses cookies and similar technologies, set by Squarespace, to keep the Site working (for example, remembering your session and protecting against spam), to measure visits and page views, and to understand how the Site is used. When you first visit, a cookie banner lets you accept all cookies, decline non-essential ones, or choose which to allow. Non-essential cookies, such as visitor statistics, are not set unless you agree, and you can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link on the Site. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. If you do, some parts of the Site may not work as intended.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share information only:

  • with service providers that help us run our business, such as Squarespace (website hosting, forms, and email campaigns) and Google Workspace (email), who may use it only to provide their services to us;

  • with travel suppliers or partners, only when needed to provide a service you have asked for as a member, and only with your knowledge;

  • when required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of B.Mia Travel, our members, or others; and

  • in connection with a sale, merger, or reorganization of our business, in which case the information would remain subject to the protections in this policy.

5. Email Communications

If you join our waitlist or sign up for updates, we will send you emails about our courses, events, and membership. You can unsubscribe at any time by using the link at the bottom of any marketing email or by emailing hello@bmiatravel.com. We may still send you non-marketing messages about an application or membership you have with us.

6. How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, including to keep records of applications and memberships and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous.

7. How We Protect Information

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, and the Site is served over a secure, encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information, such as payment card numbers, through our website forms or by email.

8. Your Choices and Rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and you may opt out of marketing emails at any time. To make a request, email hello@bmiatravel.com. We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to confirm your identity first. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under the privacy laws of your state or country. We will honor those rights as required by applicable law.

9. Third-Party Websites

The Site may link to resort, supplier, and other third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites, and we encourage you to read their privacy policies.

10. Children's Privacy

The Site and our membership are intended for adults working in, or looking to join, the travel industry. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has given us personal information, please contact us at hello@bmiatravel.com and we will delete it.

11. Visitors Outside the United States

B.Mia Travel is based in the United States, and the Site is operated from the United States. If you visit from another country, your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If we make significant changes, we may also let you know by email or with a notice on the Site.
