Frequently asked questions
-
B.Mia Travel Collective is a selective, members-only host agency for travel advisors who specialize in destination weddings and honeymoons, with deep expertise in Mexico and the Caribbean. We are the host agency arm of Bohemia Weddings, founded by Misti Marquette after 15 years of planning destination weddings in Mexico. Our founders live in the Cancun area and have spent years building relationships with local vendors, resorts and on-site wedding offices, relationships our advisors benefit from on every booking.
-
A host agency gives independent travel advisors the supplier relationships, booking credentials, commission structure and support they need to sell travel without building an agency from scratch. Most advisors who book resort weddings and room blocks work under a host. B.Mia is built specifically for wedding and honeymoon travel, so our training, tools and resort relationships are all focused on that.
-
We are intentionally small. Large host agencies accept almost anyone and support thousands of advisors; B.Mia considers 10 or fewer new advisors a year so every member gets weekly mentorship, real access to our team and room to grow. Our team has planned thousands of destination weddings, and we are recognized by the suppliers that matter most for wedding groups.
-
Yes. The Bohemia Weddings team, who mentor every B.Mia advisor, is the top group wedding seller for Classic Vacations, one of the top five group wedding sellers for Hyatt Inclusive Collection, and the top group seller for TAFER Hotels & Resorts. Those relationships mean faster answers, stronger group rates and real advocacy for your couples.
-
Our specialty is Mexico and the Caribbean: Cancun and the Riviera Maya, Puerto Vallarta and Riviera Nayarit, Los Cabos, and the Caribbean islands, where our team has planned weddings for 15 years and has direct relationships with resorts and wedding offices. Because B.Mia holds an IATA accreditation, our advisors can also book travel anywhere in the world for their clients.
-
Ambitious advisors at every stage: people new to travel, experienced advisors looking for a better host, and established agency owners. What matters most is commitment to destination weddings and to doing them well.
-

-
Because real mentorship doesn't scale. We consider 10 or fewer new advisors a year so we can give each one personal training, help with their first groups and introductions to our resort and vendor partners. When spots fill, we keep a waitlist for the next intake.
-
Apply online, then we schedule a call to talk through your experience, goals and the clients you serve. Every application is reviewed personally by our team. Accepted advisors are placed on the membership path that fits their experience and sales.
-
Your placement is based on how long you've been in the industry and your previous sales. New advisors get a strong foundation; experienced advisors get room to grow faster.
